This is a very sad time for us.  Dave Martin was a kind, generous and highly capable man who was well known and highly regarded; until recently he had been the BCAS Unit Chief in Nelson before moving to Trail.  For many years he taught the First Responders throughout the area.  He was a great teacher and a respected mentor to those of us in the fire service.  He touched many lives and inspired many people, and he will be greatly missed.
